1.2 Firebase Analytics Data

We collect anonymous usage analytics through Firebase Analytics to improve the app. No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected.

• Content Interactions: Viewing, adding/removing favorites, adding/removing watchlist (IDs/titles only)
• Search Behavior: Search terms, aggregated result counts, and clicks on search results
• Filter Usage: Which filters you apply (genre, year, rating, content type, sorting)
• Calendar Actions: View changes (month/week/agenda) and ICS export events
• Performance Metadata: Paging loads (counts) and cache hits; aggregated, non-PII

• OMDb API: Movie information retrieval (your searches are sent to OMDb)
• TVMaze API: TV show and episode data retrieval (your searches are sent to TVMaze)

5. Your Control and Choices

5.1 Local Data Management

• Delete Content: Remove items from favorites and watchlist anytime
• Clear Episode Data: Reset episode watching history

• Complete Removal: Uninstall the app to delete all local data

5.2 Analytics Control

• Firebase Analytics: Can be disabled through Android device settings
• Advertising ID: Reset through Android device settings
• Crash Reporting: Automatically handled by Firebase SDK

5.3 Network Preferences

• WiFi-Only Mode: Restrict API calls to WiFi connections only
